What Should I Feel with My Exercises?
Updated: Feb 17, 2021
Exercises are just made up inputs that we use to change our bodies. We should expect a certain output from each input. 99% of the time we expect our output to be felt in a particular area - mainly a muscle and not a joint. #ItsNotRocketScience
Also, exercises aren’t special. They aren’t mythical. I don’t remember Moses talking about the back squat, bench press and conventional deadlift in the 10 Commandments. The snatch isn’t in the Koran and Jim Jones sure as shit didn’t drink kool-aid because he wasn’t able to do the shoulder rotations with a band that his doctor gave him for his rotator cuff.
Do an exercise because it makes a positive change for you - not because you feel like you have to!
